Description:

The data modeler will be a key person designing data flows, integrations, structures, and schemas appropriate to supporting BI and analytics from various source systems within the Commercial Real Estate space.

This role requires partnering with the broader Client Technology teams at the country, regional and global level by utilizing in-depth knowledge of data, infrastructure, technologies, and data engineering experience

Requirements:

Key Skills

• Experience with data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence deployed in a complex environment.
• Understanding of modeling document data for NoSQL databases
• Understand data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate data
• Experienced in use of data analysis and modeling tools
• Expert knowledge of SQL
• Experienced in RDBMS platforms, Snowflake and SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with ETL tools
• Understanding and use of data vault and dimensional design principals
• Able to think logically, organize work flows efficiently, and solve problems independently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science.
• 3-4 years data modeling and data integration experience specifically in a data warehousing setting utilizing both onshore and offshore resources
• 1-2 years in Agile modeling
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Excellent technical, analytical and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Product Owners, business SMEs, and data analysts as the lead in understanding and documenting business requirements
• Work with the data architect and data analyst to translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Review the data model with both technical and business audiences as well as Data Governance
• Define data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies.
• Design the flow and integration of information between departments for structured and unstructured data
• Optimize flow of data
• Learn and stay informed of the ways the organization uses its data.
