WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
In our company there are around 20 people: PMs, BAs, Architect, and one designer. We work only on large projects and development takes from 1 year and more. After the project is live, we work on support for this project and enhancements.
When the new project is started our BAs work with a customer to prepare Functional requirements for the software, as result we have an FRD document with all use cases. In parallel Architect also work with the customer and BAs to define the best technologies that should be used for the software, and also prepare some technical documentation, so as result we have TRD.
After that, we send FRD and TRD to one of our vendors (outsourcing development teams, each development team has a PM, Lead who works in that team) for development.
