Senior Back-end Developer in SoftHouseGroup

About the project: Our client is looking for a Senior Back-end (Java) Developer with experience in payment gateways to extend the project team that develops and supports a Universal Payment Service. The fast-growing team is based in Canada, but they are happy to have colleagues worldwide to carry out the project's mission. The ideal candidate is required to have good written English. Required skills: - work experience — 5+ years of building web applications and/or APIs; - excellent knowledge of Java, Microservices, REST; - good knowledge of Unit tests, Redis, key-value stores; - English level — Upper-Intermediate/Advance. Will be a plus: - prior experience with payment terminal device applications, Point Of Sale (POS) systems, or payment gateways. Daily responsibilities: - design, code and debug core platform components; - participation in Agile software development projects and Scrum activities from sprint planning to retrospectives; - participation in daily meetings with the Client (а classical Agile approach is used); - close collaboration with the product development team for estimation and delivery of improvements.
