Safety Officer in Printful

That’s why we’re looking for a Safety Officer to enforce initiatives that keep our teams safe, train staff on safety procedures, and oversee processes to support an injury-free workplace.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Developing, enforcing, and maintaining safety plans and procedures that align with OSHA and NFPA regulations
• Updating leadership on all safety concerns and advising solutions to better protect our facility and team members
• Performing safety audits and reviewing procedures to identify potential hazards and noncompliances with current federal, state, and local requirements
• Investigating on-site accidents and incidents, maintaining proper documentation, and putting action plans in place to prevent similar occurrences
• Enforcing personal protective equipment (PPE) usage throughout the facility
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Developing and leading regular safety trainings so staff can understand the safety rules and be proactive in protecting themselves and their teams
• Leading safety teams and serving on the facility emergency response team

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or 3+ years experience in a safety leadership role
• 3+ years prior experience working in a printing, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
• Registration as a Certified Safety Professional (CPS) or a similar license
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, federal, state, and city safety requirements
• Strong facilities, maintenance, and machine safety background
• Experience using spreadsheets, slideshows, and word-processing programs like MS Office or Google Docs

• Manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Establish working relationships with other employees and leadership
