Ruby Backend Developer in Pokupon

The Pokupon and SuperDeal development team work in small collaborative teams to build massive, scalable and reliable systems using a variety of technologies and development methods. Ideal candidate for this position in our understanding: - Ruby / Rails; - JavaScript; - HTML and СSS; - Redis, Memcached; - Background processing (Resque, Sidekiq, etc); - Git; - Knowledge of Unix; - Ability to write tests; - A solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, algorithms and data structures; - Experience in working with commercial projects; - Experience in working with highly loaded web projects; - Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.); - Ability to navigate in someone else's code; - English - sufficient for reading and understanding technical documentation.
