Description:

Excellent knowledge of HTML, Javascript, Jquery, and CSS.

Good understanding of Object Orient design principles, MVC architecture, and web-services RESTful APIs and design patterns.

Excellent knowledge of version control systems like GIT, SVN

Specification, design, development, and debugging of large Internet scale and high-performance service-based web applications

Define technical solutions from the design and architecture through development and unit-testing

Understanding of Enterprise application development for both packaged and custom applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with agile methodologies like SCRUM.

Good knowledge of important architectural considerations for high traffic websites like scalability, availability, clustering, load balancers, traffic delegation

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

2-4 years of web application development in at least one mainstream Object Oriented language.

3+ years experience in development in Ruby & using Rails to develop code bases of significant size & complexity

Design and implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller level to UI

Experience building large-scale systems in a high-availability production environment

Must have excellent hands-on experience building Ruby on Rails-based web applications

Dealt with database performance issues and query optimization in MySQL.
