Wargaming is opening a new Research Analyst (remote) position to strengthen the Monetization and Server-Side Events analytical team. You will work with managers responsible for in-game monetization and game events in products, the Data Warehouse team responsible for data warehouse management and reporting, as well as with product analysts, data science analysts and colleagues from other parts of the Global Business Intelligence structure. The gaming industry is one of the most data-rich. You will have the opportunity to use the most interesting analytical approaches, share experience with other teams, learn new analytical tools and technologies, and see the results of your work. ### What will you do: * collect and formalize customer research requests; * prepare analytical reports, develop metrics and methodologies for assessing the effectiveness of in-game events and promotions issued by the Server Side Events department; * analyze and test the monetization tools used by the Server-Side Events department, and prepare recommendations for their improvement; * analyze new monetization functionality, simulate possible results and assess potential risks when introducing it into games; * collect customer requirements for the development of analytical dashboards; * conduct presentations of the results of the research, transferring knowledge to other teams to further increase the efficiency and attractiveness of in-game events and promotions in Wargaming projects. ### What is important for us: * experience in writing analytical reports and presenting research results; * knowledge of statistical methods of data analysis; * knowledge of SQL at a level sufficient for mining and data processing; * knowledge of MS Excel at the level of an advanced user; * work experience of at least 2 years in positions related to data analysis; * ability to speak, read and write in English (Intermediate level and above). ### What will be useful: * readiness for learning, assimilation and systematization of large amounts of information in a short period of time; * experience with Oracle databases, as well as Impala / Hive tools; * experience in data visualization in Tableau; * experience in R / Python with popular libraries for data processing and analysis; * experience in the gaming industry; * gaming experience in Wargaming products. ### About Wargaming Wargaming is one of the world's largest publishers and developers in the free-to-play MMO market.
