● 8+ years of experience in a lead software engineering/architect capacity

● Expert level programming skills in NodeJS and ReactJS framework

● Expert level knowledge in REST API-based microservices development & integration

● Hands on experience reviewing and implementing SOLID design principles

● Hands on experience with several different design patterns (e.g. BFF, Singleton pattern,

Factory Method pattern, Proxy pattern, Template pattern, API Gateway etc)

● Hands on experience designing and implementing cross cutting concerns such as

configuration management, service discovery, distributed tracing, logging, etc

● Hands on experience designing, developing and deploying cloud based microservices

solutions to production on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS and/or Azure

● Experience implementing services with modern authentication using OAuth 2.0, SAML,

JWT

● Experience implementing solutions on top of NoSQL and SQL databases such as

ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Postgres, SQL, etc.

● Experience with testing frameworks such as Chai and Mocha, etc.

● Experience with performance optimization & transaction management in distributed

systems

● Understanding and exposure to interservice communication protocols like gRPC, HTTP

or AMQP with tools like Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

● Experience leading and coaching developers from a technical perspective (architecture

reviews, code reviews, etc.)

● Experience working in an Agile environment
