Python software developer in DevRain

We are looking for a highly experienced Python developer to join a cutting-edge technology start-up building innovative products. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full product development life-cycle, from conception to deployment. While focusing on the back-end development your advice will be sought on front-end deployments and optimization of Python driven by front-end UX/UI. It is beneficial if you previously used Python in the financial, trading, or commodity industries and are familiar with some of the financial concepts. Clear and concise communication is a must.

Overview

- Ability to write modular code, break complex notions into digestible pieces, both conceptually and code-wise

- Address complex problems through lean and smart coding

- Apply best practices and golden coding standards in daily work

- Refactor and optimize existing code

- Proficient in finding relevant Python packages and integrating them into the code base

- Familiarity with DevOps, Github, repositories, workspaces, etc.

- Ability to package the code into libraries and containers, compatibility checking

You will be successful in this position if you are/have:

- At least 3 years of experience in Python development

- Flexible and agile in approach

- Responsible, punctual, and with a sense of integrity

- Good communication skills in English
