Open Vacancy: Founding Software Engineer in Intropia

We're looking for an engineer who is passionate about building and has a product-focused mindset. If you have experience in web2 engineering and are interested in transitioning to web3 engineering, we are happy to provide training on Solidity.

At Big Whale Labs, you will be working on cutting-edge projects, including our pseudonymous social network, Ketl - Silicon Valley Anonymous, and our social and identity protocol, Sealcred.xyz. Both projects are currently in alpha, and we are looking for someone who can take a leadership role in driving them forward.

Responsibilities

• Leading micro-projects from inception to completion
• Addressing complex problems with elegant solutions
• Managing and working on front-end, back-end, and smart contracts
• Collaborating with our team of builders to ship products from zero to one
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members

Requirements

• US/Canada-based candidates!
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on production software
• Experience building your own independent side projects that are live in production
• Proficiency in React, Typescript, and Node.js
• Active crypto/Web3 user
• Strong communication skills in fluent English
• Ability to address complex problems with elegant solutions

Bonus Skills

• Experience with ZK or Cryptography
• Experience building social products
