NODE.JS Developer in Kateryna Bens

Currently we are looking for a Middle Node.js Developer to join our team that creates a parcel monitoring and delivery system that is designed to help to deliver great customer experiences, not just packages.

It doesn't just help to print shipping labels, it helps to turn deliveries into new sales. System enables users to receive orders automatically as well as create them manually. The goods are delivered by the couriers. Also, users can use the account for more than 8 delivery services. System enables the good’s return too. The functionality of notifications was developed to inform that the parcel was lost, damaged or delayed. The data is extracted from courier APIs.

Project lasts from 2019 and you will be working in a team of 6 qualified developers.

Main stack of technologies are: Express, React JS, MongoDB, PgSQL, AWS

So we would like you to have:

— 2+ years of experience in Backend Development.

— 2+ years of commercial experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.

— Extensive experience with relational databases.

— Good English and communication skills.

It is nice to have:

— Basic experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI.

— Experience with NoSQL DB and search systems (e.g. Firebase, Redis, ElasticSearch).

— Managing a small team during the development and deployment process.

— Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests.

— Experience in unit testing (Karma, Jasmine, others).

What you will do:

— Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.

— Map business requirements to programmable features;

— Design, develop, test, implement and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications for critical systems and deliver high-availability and performance.

— Write well-designed, testable, reusable and efficient code.

— Deploy applications using Containers and Docker.

— Improve and extend functionality of existing applications.

— Work according to Scrum or Agile.
