Network QA Engineer in Job Advice Agency

We invite for long-term cooperation a specialist Network QA Engineer with the experience of a network engineer who has a good understanding of Ethernet networks and network equipment, is able to test it and sees his own development in this field.

Our partner is an outsourcing company that develops software and hardware for switches, network equipment and embedded systems, and has 2 directions - design and product.

The company has two offices - in Israel and Kyiv, the main development center is in Kyiv.

Several projects are in progress at the same time, lasting from several months to several years. The company's customers are world leaders in our field.

📌Key requirements: L2/L3 network protocols, Linux services configuration (TFTP, Samba, DNS etc), Python scripts, Linux Shell scripts

Java/C#/.Net/Perl/PHP/C/C++, Docker containers, Git.

📌 Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of networks (L2/L3 protocols including VLAN, STP, IGMP, OSPF, BGP, ARP)
• Experience configuring Cisco or other network equipment via CLI
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with service settings (Syslog, RADIUS, Samba etc)
• OP with Python (scapy, setuptools, regular expressions, pyexpect) or other scripting languages.

It will be a plus:

• Experience as a system administrator
• CCNA certification will also be an advantage
• English at the level of reading tech. documentation.

Duties:

1. Testing software for managing routers developed by Larch Networks specialists
2. Preparation of test plans
3. Carrying out manual tests
4. Writing scripts (mainly in Python) for automated testing
