Description:

We are looking for a passionate and conscientious Test Engineer to join our team – we are open to all seniority from mid to senior/lead. In this role, you will focus on executing the validation activities for the next-generation vehicle controller, which is integrating new and advanced software functions for cloud connectivity, EDGE processing, and supporting autonomous driving, EV and advanced connectivity features. We create new software from scratch and work on technologies that will be introduced to the market soon. It is an Automotive project for well-known car manufacturers, technology game changers to lead one into a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in software quality assurance/testing
• Demonstrated validation experience with Mobile/Web/API technologies
• Experience with creating test strategies, test plans, test procedures, test cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), management of bug reports, collection of logs and test reporting
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
• Excellent communication skills to explain the issues/status to management
• Detail-oriented and possess exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Communicative English (spoken and written)
• Experience with Vehicle to Cloud API testing or MQTT framework or Vector CANoe – nice to have

Job Responsibilities:

• Create test plans defining scope, timeline, feature list and validation approach
• Review daily/weekly changes in requirements, user stories, change requests to create and update test cases
• Execute API tests using Postman/Swagger and other tests using ECU simulation, test benches, and vehicles
• Create and update defects in defect management systems, including detail for version, steps to recreate, expected and the actual result, log files are required
• Execute weekly defect retesting and root cause analysis for identified issues
• Update test status report daily with test results, identified issues
• Contribute to team training material, and engage in cross-team development
