Mid/Senior Test Automation Engineer (Automotive) IRC166726 in GlobalLogic

Description:

We are looking for a passionate and conscientious Test Engineer to join our team – we are open to all seniority. In this role you will be working on test automation framework development and maintenance for the xIL platform, test scripts and libraries development and maintenance, development of tools for CI/ CD workflow management, database management for test automation artifacts. It is an Automotive project for well-known car manufacturers, technology game changers to lead one into a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry. We focus on autonomous driving systems, battery management systems in electric cars, ECU for road lighting control, recognition of road signs and speech, multimedia and infotainment systems, reduction of emissions and creation of environmentally friendly solutions. We work in areas of a remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in software quality assurance/testing
• Great knowledge of one the programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
• Knowledge of virtual testing methods (model-based, xIL, etc.)
• Knowledge of agile test methods and test automation
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and DFSS Methodologies
• Familiarity with software version control
• Understanding of testing standards
• Experience with test environments
• Experience working with global teams and good interpersonal skills
• Communicative English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of CAN and analysis tools – nice to have
• Experience with Automation Toolchain such as Automation Desk, ECU Test, TestStand etc. – nice to have
• Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive) -nice to have
• Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK – nice to have
• Experience in one of the following domains (Propulsion Systems, ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis) – nice to have

Job Responsibilities:

• Test library development and maintenance
• Create test plans defining scope, timeline, feature list and validation approach
• Participate in the requirements analysis and definition of the test specifications
• Take part in defining Test Automation Strategy
• Contribute to the development of the test automation framework
• Design and create new test automation scripts
• Contribute to the CI/CD workflow definition and pipeline creation
• Participate in the analysis and diagnosis of regular system regression tests
• Participate in test execution and bug reporting
• Cooperate with the development team to follow up on bug resolution
• Contribute to team training material, engage in cross-team development
