About the project:

EdTech stack. Online tutoring provider. UK client. The main aim of the solution is to create a set of a lessons consisting of pupils. The lessons’ date-time depends on a fixed schedule or on platform that matches pupils to particular recurring slots based on their date & time preferences. On the next step, each tutor reviews the list of lessons based on their teaching preferences, eligibility, etc. Tutors filter and book appropriate lessons or sets of lessons. They launch a lesson and complete it or cancel due to some reason. Tutor can register and onboard to the process right through the platform (complete Background check etc.). Payment provider is also connected.

Responsibilities:

● Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for cloud services;

● Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor network infrastructure;

● Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot virtualized and/or containerized infrastructure;

● Implement security best practices and project requirements;

● Implement automated recovery from failure, horizontal scaling, and automated change management;

● Create release pipelines and configure integration with platforms for different environments;

● Collaborate with development teams to optimize release and deployment processes.

Requirements:

● 2 years of experience with core stack technologies;

● 3 years of experience in the IT industry;

● At least 1 year of software development experience (any language);

● Experience in implementing HA or DR for cloud services;

● Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring network infrastructure;

● Hands-on experience with virtualized and/or containerized infrastructure;

● Strong understanding of security best practices and project requirements;

● Experience in implementing automated recovery, horizontal scaling, and managing changes automatically;

● Familiarity with creating release pipelines and configuring integration with platforms;

● Knowledge of AWS (Azure/GCP nice to have);

● Architecture at the Associate level;

● Experience with IaaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrant, and Ansible;

● Proficiency in CloudFormation and Serverless Framework;

● Familiarity with Java BE;

● Excellent technical documentation writing skills;

● Extensive experience with Terraform Cloud Familiarity with GitOps;

● Analytical thinking and ability to identify vulnerabilities and optimize infrastructure;

● Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for lambdas;

● English level Upper Intermediate.
