Middle Android developer in Ginkgo Ukraine

About the client’s team and project:

The total team is 50+ people and 4 projects are currently being worked on. It’s our reliable partner (from Israel) with whom we have been working for more than 4 years.

In the beginning, the new developer will work on a solution for one of the projects (CJOS customer journey operating system). The solution will be a library for mobile devices that the customer adds to the source code.

What will you do?

• Development of an Android application from scratch.
• Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the platform.
• Deliver features as commitments dictate, inline with our security and coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to help design, interpret, and scope requirements, with focus on technical approach, time-to-market and feasibility
• Develop software services to meet the requirements of the platform.

What should you have:

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Expert in developing services with Kotlin and/or Java, with at least 4+ years of experience with either or both of these languages
• Experience in writing libraries.
• Experience with library publication.
• Expert in developing microservice architectures, CI/CD patterns & practices, data architecture & engineering, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools like: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab.

Will be a plus:

Experience with Flutter.
