Description:

We are looking for a Mid+/ Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join our ambitious project dedicated to one of the Clients of our Fin-tech portfolio. You will be working as a part of the distributed cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland.

You will be responsible for full lifecycle development on a Financial Services platform which encompasses the analysis, design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of database solutions that meet the requirements as expressed by the business teams. To excel in this role, you will need expert-level Oracle skills, be willing to mentor more junior members of the team and take a lead on large technical projects.

We are an enthusiastic team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. This Project is a part of the long-term Program Plan.

Requirements:

• Min. 4 years of experience in Oracle Database Development
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Packages/Stored Procedures/Functions Development
• Strong Database, application, and SQL performance tuning skills with knowledge of Oracle internals
• Experience with Linux (Windows/ Unix) environments
• Good verbal and written skills in English
• Self-motivation, ability to work independently
• Passion for database technologies and new trends
• Agile Practices
• Cloud Experience is strongly preferred but not required
• Database Administration, CIS, or related Technical major – will be a plus
• Experience with other COTS database products such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Cassandra – will be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Support multiple scrum development teams with their sprint delivery from a database perspective with the development of database objects
• Design and implement solutions that follow efficient techniques and development that meet and exceed the intent of the data solution
• Lend support to technology and quality assurance teams as necessary during design, development, and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions
• Document database development guidelines, standards, and performance reviews
• Provide logical and physical database design
• Maintain and document data model, data dictionary, and data flow diagrams
• Evaluate the latest versions of RDBMS software
