Description:

We are looking for an experienced, open-minded, and creative Lead Test Engineer/Test Manager. In the scope of the engagement, you will take management leadership over the QA team working on various solutions for Automotive Middleware components. The scrum process is established with the good support of internal tools and well-established Scrum rituals. Intensive verbal and written communication with the customer team members is expected.

In this project, we create new software from scratch and work on technologies that will be introduced to the market soon. It is an Automotive project for a well-known car manufacturer. We are working on autonomous driving systems, battery management systems in electric cars, ECU for road lighting control, recognition of road signs and speech, multimedia and infotainment systems, reduction of emissions, and creation of environmentally friendly solutions. We work in areas of a remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms. We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven record of solid background in QA and Test Automation
• Understanding test strategy and test plan role (following and maintenance necessity)
• Hands-on knowledge & experience in Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc.) software development methodologies
• Great self-organization and proactiveness in daily work
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders
• Facilitation and problem-solving skills
• Communicative English (spoken and written)
• Experience in the automotive domain – nice to have

Job Responsibilities:

• Task distribution in the team
• Facilitation to ensure on-time service execution and delivery of high-quality software
• Take part in planning and prioritizing testing activities for different parallel projects
• Facilitate and support the development process
• Prepare and review the project documentation
• Share status and reporting issues
• Influence the process’s effectiveness by sharing ideas and improvement proposals.
• Make sure the processes are carried out in accordance with policies and procedures to constantly improve operational effectiveness
