Lead Frontend Engineer in EXTREME IDEA LLC

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Frontend engineer you will:

• develop the key components of our product
• understand requirements, design the solution and implement it in the code
• be challenged to support the rapid evolution of the software through validation methods that are both nimble, but also effective enough to drive the quality appropriately to the enterprise-class software.

As a member of the Product Development team, you will:

• Drive the implementation of key product components 
• Design, architect, develop, and deliver new exciting features to meet our customers’ needs
• Constantly developing our product
• Implement automated tests such as unit tests, integration and other types of tests covering the product fully with automation
• Perform peer code review
• Deliver high quality software
• Incorporate new methods in the software development processes
• Assist in the pre-sales process with the Sales team
• Participate in the hiring process and interview candidates for technical positions

Must Have:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, engineering, or related field
• Experience Frontend 7+ years
• Experience Angular or React or Vuejs 4+ years, typescript, pipes, interceptors, jest, nx, rxjs, grunt and the architecture patterns (Angular is a big plus)
• Knowledge and experience in concurrency, cross browser and mobile development, automation.
• Web services server-side and client custom implementations, other architecture and patterns.
• Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Maven3, Gradle, build pipelines, CI/CD.
• Performance and memory profiling.
• High load client-side implementations and distributed messaging systems.
• Replication, Clustering, Sharding approaches and technologies.
• Usability expertise
• Experience integrating with web services and other 3rd party technologies.
• Experience in using and managing containerized application technologies (docker, kubernetes)
• English — upper-intermediate (reading, writing, speaking)

Will be a plus:

• Complementary knowledge of PHP, Python and Java.

Job details:

• Expected work schedule - 5 days a week: 4 are in the office and 1 day home office
• Up to 20 work days of vacation time and 5 paid “sick days” per year
