Java tutor in CodeGym

Requirements:

• excellent orientation in Java and programming in general;
• be charismatic;
• be able to explain difficult things in simple words;
• be a good programmer and a good teacher or a good programmer and a good teacher ;)

Nice to have:

• at least two years of experience in Java development;
• experience with Spring, Spring Boot, databases and Hibernate;
• knowledge of algorithms at a basic level.

Responsibilities:

• conduct training in a group of students. One group is training for 2-3 months;
• explain, help students, answer questions in Slack;
• conduct group consultations, explain the theory and analyze problem solving;
• inspire and motivate during learning.

How classes with a mentor are held:

• twice a week online on Zoom;
• duration of classes – 2 hours;
• several groups of students can be led at the same time.

We offer:

• lectures, tasks, presentations, methodological materials, but you may have to finish the materials for yourself or for course changes;
• we will help you to improve your knowledge and skills for teaching;
• payment $50 per hour;
• part - time, remote job.
