The role requires a strong technical leader, comfortable guiding the development team.
The ideal candidate for this position is a “hands-on” leader, self-starter, customer-focused, detail oriented, well spoken, eager to learn different technologies, comfortable working with highly technical teams, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing web apps and enterprise server systems;
• Strong English verbal and written skills to perform communication with the client (Upper-Intermediate);
• 8+ years of experience as Java Developer/Java Team Lead;
• Experience managing a team of 5-7 people
• Experience of using SQL, Hibernate and one of more databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgre);
• Experience with the development and CI tools: maven, git, Bamboo, Jenkins, Jira, etc;
• Experience with microservice built with Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus;
• Experience with the clouds (preferable AWS) is a plus;
• Experience with PROD issues troubleshooting;
• Solid problem solving and analytical skills;
• Experience of mentoring team members;
• Expertise building software in Agile development environment;
• Business oriented mindset, team player;
• B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering on related science.

• Leading and collaborating with a team, architecting and implementing high-quality solutions driven by the product owner’s use cases.
• Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code as a contributing member of the team according to best practices and modern solutions.
• Influencing and mentoring more junior developers in an effort to continuously improve the tools, skills, and processes of the team.
• Contributing to the architecture of projects and collaborating closely with Architect on the client side.
• Taking ownership and responsibility for the delivery and quality of code your team produces.
• Working under minimal supervision and acting independently, requiring a high level of judgment and interpretation to determine the best methods and procedures to make progress.
