We are looking for an experienced FPGA Designer/Digital Signal Processing Engineer to develop an image stabilization and tracking system. This role will involve working closely with a team of hardware and software developers to create a high-performance FPGA-based system.
FPGA Designer/Digital Signal Processing Engineer
Main responsibilities:
Development of FPGA design for video signal processing, including image stabilization and object tracking algorithms.
Integration of digital signal processing (DSP) blocks to ensure efficient real-time video stream processing.
Implementation and optimization of signal processing algorithms at the hardware level.
Collaborate with software and hardware teams to configure the interaction between FPGA and other system components.
Porting existing algorithms from C/C++/Matlab to FPGA
Writing tests for verification and simulation
Conducting simulation, verification and testing of FPGA designs.
Support for prototyping and integration with existing equipment.
Documenting the development process and technical specifications.
Requirements:
Experience with FPGAs (Xilinx, Altera or others) and development tools (Vivado, Quartus or similar).
Deep knowledge of HDL languages (VHDL or Verilog).
Experience in designing and implementing DSP blocks for real-time video signal processing.
Understanding the principles of image stabilization and tracking algorithms.
Experience with image and video processing algorithms.
Ability to work with simulators and tools for testing FPGA designs.
Ability to work with version control systems
Ability to use an oscilloscope and signal generator.
Knowledge of digital circuitry.
Knowledge of digital signal processing algorithms.
High analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems.
Experience working in a team and ability to communicate effectively.
Additional skills:
Experience with high-speed interfaces (HDMI, MIPI, LVDS).
Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages for embedded systems.

Experience with verification and testing tools (ModelSim, QuestaSim or similar).
