WordPress Developer in SupportYourApp

Our product IT team is looking for an experienced and active WordPress Developer to support and update our 3 product websites. You'll work your magic on making our websites visually appealing, user-friendly and featuring the latest features. We look forward to working closely with our marketing and product teams to expand our online presence and support our growth goals.

What we will do:

• Oversee the maintenance and updates of three product websites, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime;
• Develop new WordPress web pages and features, integrating sales pages, blogs, case studies and other relevant content;
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to the branding and functional requirements of each website;
• Implement responsive design so that sites are mobile-friendly;
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability;
• Collaborate with the product marketing team to translate marketing requirements into functional web design;
• Regularly update content, solve any technical issues together with product and support teams;
• Follow industry trends and apply best practices in web design and development.

Important and required:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in web development or a similar position.
• Portfolio of previous work, including responsive design and WordPress projects.
• Experience with WordPress , including themes, plugins and block editor (Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery).
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript, as well as knowledge of React/VueJS to use Tailwind components.
• Basic knowledge of PHP;
• Understanding the template hierarchy and its basic principles;
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring their compliance with applications;
• Basic knowledge of testing and debugging browsers;
• Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (eg Google Analytics, GTM Events);
• Good understanding of site architecture and aesthetics;
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

You will be a plus:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field;
• Certificates related to web development;
• Sense of humor and love for art :)
