Job description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Stack Website Developer specializing in ecommerce platforms to join our team. As an Ecommerce Full-Stack Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our online store, ensuring its seamless functionality and optimal user experience. This role requires a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as expertise in ecommerce platforms and technologies. Responsibilities· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and operations to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.· Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure ecommerce websites using modern technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.· Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs to enhance the user experience across various devices.· Develop custom themes, templates, and plugins/modules to meet specific ecommerce needs and requirements.· Integrate and configure third-party applications, payment gateways, ERP system, and shipping providers into the ecommerce platform.· Implement and optimize SEO techniques to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.· Ensure website performance, speed, and reliability through efficient coding practices, caching mechanisms, and server optimizations.· Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.· Stay up to date with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in ecommerce website development. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Full-Stack Website Developer with a strong focus on ecommerce platforms.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.Strong knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby, and frameworks like Laravel, Django, or Ruby on Rails.Experience working with popular ecommerce platforms such as WooCommerce or ShopifyFamiliarity with database systems, SQL, and ORM frameworks.Knowledge of version control systems like Git.Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of serverless computing and cloud platformsFamiliarity with CI/CD processes and tools.Understanding of performance optimization techniques.Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
