We’re looking for a Web Manager to help our Swedish client selling air purifiers manage and optimize their online presence for long-term success.

Our client is the leading webshop for air purifiers in Sweden, supplying 80% of the market. With an impressive 300% growth over the past year, they are expanding their operations and seeking a dedicated Web Manager to join their dynamic team. Our client’s website, powered by WordPress (WooCommerce), is central to the business, and we are looking for a talented individual to manage and optimize their online presence for long-term success.

As the Web Manager, you will oversee and manage the client’s e-commerce platform, ensure smooth operations, and implement strategic improvements. You will work closely with the marketing department to drive sales and enhance user experience. Your role will be pivotal in securing and optimizing the website, addressing technical challenges, and leading development projects in collaboration with external consultants.

What you’ll do in this role

Site Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of our WordPress (WooCommerce) website.
  • Ensure website security, performance, and reliability.
  • Manage hosting, analytics, and other technical aspects.

SEO and Analytics:

  • Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor website performance and drive data-driven decisions.

Technical Support:

  • Provide IT support related to the website and its functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Platform Responsibility:

  • Manage and optimize various platforms and integrations.
  • Ensure seamless functionality across all digital platforms.

Development Leadership:

  • Lead and manage one or more developers.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on development projects.

Strategic Improvements:

  • Advise on long-term improvements and innovations for the website.
  • Suggest and implement redesigns and conceptual updates as needed.

Collaboration with Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing department to align strategies and drive online sales.
  • Optimize user experience and conversion rates.

Expansion Preparation:

  • Prepare the website for future expansion into European markets.
  • Ensure scalability and adaptability of web infrastructure.

We’re looking for

  • Proven experience in web management, particularly with WordPress and WooCommerce.
  • Experience in Project Management is a must.
  • Experience with WordPress development.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
  • Experience in handling technical challenges, particularly security breaches.
  • Ability to lead and manage developmentteams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take charge of long-term projects.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and user experience optimization.
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English knowledge.
