VOD content processing engineer for Kyivstar TV platform in 1+1 media

1+1 media invites a VOD Content Processing Engineer who will upload, convert, edit and check the quality of video content so that every user Kyivstar TV received the best viewing experience.

Come to us if you:

• have a full higher technical education (or you are a master's/postgraduate student);
• have work experience from 1 year in the field of information technologies ( preferably);
• have experience in editing programs (preferably Adobe Premiere Pro);
• knowledge of media file formats and their main parameters;
• understand the principles of file transfer using FTP, SMB, ASPERA and from WEB interfaces;
• know the methods of converting video and audio materials;
• have the skills to work in cases of force majeure and with a large amount of information;
• know English language at a level not lower than A2;
• have business correspondence skills;
• responsible, organized, able to learn.

Being pros, you will be engaged preparing video content, namely:

• downloading video content using network protocols;
• checking the file for integrity and compliance with technical requirements; 
• transcoding the content into a format in accordance with the technical requirements for placement on the platform; 
• checking the presence of subtitles (including forced ones) and their synchronicity with the video. In the absence of forced subtitles, determine whether they are necessary (for example, a conversation in a fictional language must be subtitled); 
• performing editing (for example, stitching subtitles into the video, cutting out technical and/or additional information in the file);
• performing a full viewing of movies, TV series on demand; >communication with suppliers on technical issues, content reordering;
• reporting.
