Virtual Desktop Solutions Engineer (VDI) in Intrasistems, TOV

We are looking for a virtualization systems specialist who specializes in virtual workplace solutions. The specialist will be responsible for the implementation, support and development of virtualization solutions for corporate customers, including audits, implementation, incident monitoring and consulting support.

What needs to be done?

• implementation and configuration of virtualization systems;
• event monitoring, incident investigation, preparation of recommendations;
• participation in pilot projects to confirm proof of concept (PoC), clarification of tasks and interaction with the Customer in the framework of pilots (PoC);
• Customer consultations, participation in projects to modernize virtualization systems;
• interaction with the Customer L1;
• interaction with the Vendor and L2/L3 support.

           Our expectations:

               Virtualization of desktops and applications (VDI):

• Deep understanding of the architecture and principles of building VDI solutions;
• Experience with image preparation and delivery technologies (provisioning, cloning);
• Skills in configuring gateways to ensure secure remote access to virtual resources;
• Experience in managing user profiles, policies and personalization in a VDI environment;
• Understanding methods for optimizing the performance of virtual workplaces for end users.

              Will be a plus:             

• Practical experience with Citrix components (Delivery Controller, StoreFront, License Server, Citrix Gateway) and Hyper-V (Failover Clustering, Virtual Switches, SCVMM);         
• Knowledge of Citrix architecture and Hyper-V Virtual Apps and Desktops;
• Experience in VMware vSphere administration (ESXi, vCenter) and knowledge of cluster functionality (HA, DRS, vMotion);
• Skills in working with Oracle VM (Server/Manager) or Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager;
• Availability of profile certificates (CCA-V, CCP-V, VCP etc.).

 Working schedule:
