Job description We are happy to invite you to join our international and ambitious team as a Video editor/motion designer, part of the creative team. What are the requirements: Expertise in motion graphics and animation software like Adobe After Effects to create animated text, graphics, and visual effects to both enhance videos and for use as motion graphic advertisements. The designer should have a strong grasp of typography, graphic design principles, and the ability to animate these elements in creative ways. Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro to edit raw footage into polished, shorter format videos. This includes selecting the best shots, arranging clips into a compelling sequence, making precise cuts, and adjusting pacing. Ability to resize and reformat videos for different aspect ratios and platforms, such as 16:9 horizontal for YouTube vs 9:16 vertical for Instagram Reels and Stories. Adapting content for various social media specs is an important skill. Knowledge of audio editing to select appropriate music tracks, adjust sound levels, and create smooth audio transitions that fit the mood and pace of the videos. Strong overall design sensibilities including composition, layout, color, and visual storytelling to create videos that are engaging and on-brand. Excellent project management skills to independently manage the full process, from receiving the brief to delivering final videos, while communicating timelines and incorporating feedback. A collaborative team player who can partner closely with strategists, producers, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and create videos that exceed expectations. Familiarity with HTML5 animation formatting and best practices for exporting for use on display advertising. Understanding how to optimize videos for web performance and create interactive HTML5 animation experiences is needed.
