With the return to Los Angeles and the opening of SoFi Stadium, the Rams are at an exciting stage of growth and looking for passionate individuals looking to help us grow.The Rams are looking for a Video Editor responsible for editing and producing video content for the Rams digital and social platforms as well as for external broadcast partners. This role will work in collaboration with other members of the Rams Studio team and be responsible for editing both long form features and short form videos (i.e., player features, Mic’d up, original documentary series, community recaps, highlight videos, game recaps, branded content, etc). This individual is a strong editor who has a passion for crafting compelling stories. The role will be expected to illuminate and elevate the Rams brand through short-form and long-form video content. In addition to creating feature video content, this person will be capturing and editing content from home and away games, community appearances, player shoots, press conferences, events, and a variety of other projects.*THIS IS NOT A REPORTER POSITION*Responsibilities:Work in collaboration with other members of the Rams Studios team to develop and produce a slate of video content for the RamsEditvideo content from home games, community appearances,player shoots, press conferences, community events, and a variety of other projectsAssist with filming/production as neededActively involved in large, multi-episode projects - work in collaboration with the Senior Manager to edit and capture content as neededWork closely with the Senior Manager to review and iterate on work, take guidance and feedback on creative direction and execution and apply it to final outputSupport the planning and execution of long form feature stories and episodic content as neededExpected to be available on game days in an editing capacityWillingness to be a team player to fulfill different project roles as needed in order to operate efficiently as a teamProvide input into creative pitches working closely with cross-functional partners to provide creative ideas to support various campaign briefsJob duties may require travelListen toorganizational needs,pitch new concepts to internal groups and external partners to meet those needs, develops relevant story ideas, writes treatments and storyboardsAssist with camera and editing equipment including inventory, packing, and upkeepParticipate in shooting and editing community, cheerleader, player features, live press conferences as neededContribute to logging Rams footage using specific formatting and strong attention to detail in Adobe PremiereAbility to translate our brand into video content and ensure content is in alignment with the Rams brand identityStay up to date on latest trends in video content across various industriesCapabilities:Previous experience in video editing and some shooting required (5+ years)Intermediate knowledge in using professional cinema cameras includingArri Amira/Alexa,Sony, Canon Cinema series, andRED Cinema camerasMastery withsound mixing and editingExperience in Post-Production workflow and skillset using non-linear editing softwareExperience in multi-cam editingWillingness to travel during the season to away games and in the off season for feature shoots as neededFlexible schedule required to successfully complete job requirements, including days, nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift 35-50lbs for prolonged amount of timeVideo editing experience on Mac with Adobe Premiere, with knowledge on how to input music, dialogue, graphics and effeKnowledge and experience in Davinci Resolve Color grading suite is a plusWorking knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop preferredBasic knowledge on set etiquette and lighting set ups to be able to assist in various shooting environmentKnowledge of social media platforms and Live broadcastingDiscretion and trustworthiness related to sensitive football-related materialMust have excellent attention to detailCreative mind, storytelling skills, excellent verbal and written communication skillsBe proactive and think creatively. Bring a willingness to go above and beyond to finish the job under deadline pressureWork in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projectsCollaborate and communicate as part of a teamAbility to work and complete solo shoots/projectsas neededKnowing the players and team are a huge plusPrevious experience working in professional sports leaguesis a plusKnowledge and a passion for the NFL is idealSalary Range: $70k/yr. - $80k/yr.Please include the top 3 projects you’ve produced / shot / edited and your demo reel.
