Verstalnyk, editor of scientific publications (MS Word) in UKRLOGOS Grup, TOV

The team needs a specialist in typesetting scientific collections, magazines and non-periodical publications in Microsoft Word for long-term cooperation.

What will the work consist of?

You will work with scientific articles, form them into publications ready for publication according to the specified parameters, bringing the texts to a uniform style, the structure and requirements of the publishing house. This is work with large files, styles, numbering, tables, formulas, diagrams, footers and other elements of academic composition.

Professional requirements:

The work requires a professional level of using Microsoft Word and knowledge of all its nuances. We ask you to objectively evaluate your own skills.

• An additional advantage is practical experience in the layout of books, collections, monographs.
• An additional advantage is knowledge of Adobe InDesign / Affinity Publisher / QuarkXPress or similar publishing tools.

• accuracy in working with texts;
• organization and ability to work with deadlines;
• ability to build your own workflow.

Work format:

• Work is completely remote.  Team communication takes place in Teams, mostly in text format.
• Full / part-time employment depending on the workload level you choose. We focus on a candidate who is ready to type at least 2,000 pages per month.
• Clear deadlines without destructive micromanagement.  We value independence and trust: we do not track online presence, screen time or hourly activity. You carry out the selected workload at a time and in a way that suits you.
• Official employment or cooperation with FOP (for freelancers).

Payment:

Monthly income range: from 15,000 UAHto40,000 UAH.

• The level of payment, like employment, depends on the chosen level of workload.
• The rate is calculated per page of the finished layout, taking into account the current level of the minimum wage.
• Weekly payment is possible for the work actually performed if you are a freelancer and work through the FOP.

Conditions for candidates:

Before the start of cooperation, a test task is provided:composition of a layout of 30-40 pages to determine the professional level of mastery of the MS Word program.

The first two months of cooperation are a fully paid internship with familiarization and gradual entry into the processes.
