Vacancy for a manager in an international support project in Podilska agenciya regionalnogo rozvitku, Gromadska organizaciya

The public organization "Podilskyi Regional Development Agency" invites you to participate in the competition for the position of manager of the international humanitarian project "Improving the involvement and integration of teenagers affected by the war in host communities", which is implemented with the support of the humanitarian agency Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe.

General characteristics:

The project manager is responsible for the management and implementation of the project in accordance with the strategy of the program department at the interregional and local level. This position is full-time.

Employment procedure: employment contract until March 31, 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Main job duties:

- Coordination with local implementing organizations (holding meetings and working meetings, providing advice to local employees on project implementation, collecting quantitative and qualitative data on the provision of services and verification of indicators).

- Coordination with external experts (organization of training and advisory events for project employees and other target groups according to the project).

- Organizational issues of holding meetings.

- Organization of centralized purchases (preparation of documents, technical tasks, etc. in accordance with the project description).

- Distribution of materials between local project executors.

- Cooperation with the financial manager on the analysis of the budget and expenses. Making adjustments in agreement with the donor.

- Correspondence and communication with the donor's representatives. Provision of necessary information at the donor's request.

- Conducting monitoring visits to local implementation centers. Checking the quality of work on the project and discussing challenges in the project implementation process.

- Development and agreement with the donor of visual materials, information booklets, etc.

- Preparation of consolidated reports based on regional reports. Coordination with monitoring and evaluation specialist.

- Knowledge and compliance with the organization's policies, including policies in the field of humanitarian aid and compliance with the rights of clients.

Eligibility requirements:

1. Complete higher education (pedagogical or psychological education will be considered as a translationyeah).

2. 2 years of experience in public organizations.

3. Knowledge of the basics of project management (basics of project activity, technologies of successful project implementation).

4. Proficiency in Ukrainian and English.

5. Project management, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation skills.

Skills and abilities:

- Ability to plan and prioritize work.

- Organizational skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to quickly, competently and present information about the project.

Ability to help team members to grow and develop.

- Conduct negotiations and communicate effectively in order to create trusting relationships with partners.

- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, search engines, Internet, etc.).
