Unity Level Designer (3+ Month Contract) remote.
Responsibilities:
Design and block out gameplay levels for an active Unity project
Build clear player flow, pacing, and encounter layout
Create blockouts and iterate quickly based on feedback
Work with Unity Scene tools, ProBuilder, and terrain systems
Collaborate daily with design, art, and programming teams
Optimize levels for stable performance
Maintain concise documentation for implemented locations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Level Designer in Unity
Strong understanding of level flow, composition, and player guidance
Confident use of Unity tools (ProBuilder, prefabs, lighting basics)
Experience with Plastic / Unity VCS
Ability to deliver high-quality blockouts under tight deadlines
Portfolio with playable level examples
Nice to Have:
Experience with shooters or tactical gameplay
Basic C# understanding
Environment art or lighting experience
Contract Details:
Duration: 3+ months (extension possible)
Format: Remote
Schedule: Full-time contractor / outsource.
