The level of the tasks corresponds to the middle position - usually the task may have one unknown aspect (for example, the optimal approach to synchronization, a feature of physics, or iron limitations), but the general direction, requirements and expected result are always defined.
What you will do
- Implement user stories and technical tasks independently middle level in Unity.
- Develop and maintain simulation logic: physics, object behavior, interaction with weapons and environment for the most effective training.
- Participate in the development of multiplayer solutions (Netcode for GameObjects).
- Propose and implement technical improvements with a real impact on product.
Work organization
- We work in Jira with a clear workflow - Definition of Ready before the start, a separate queue Ready for QA, clear acceptance criteria and release versions.
- Dev pulls tasks himself (pull-model), minimal WIP, early integration - without chaos and "almost done".
- Focus on predictability - weekly releases, transparent statuses, minimal surprises.
What we are looking for
- Commercial experience of working with Unity for 2 years or more.
- Willingness to work in a team and desire to improve the overall result.
- Initiative and desire to influence development ideas.
- Orientation on the product, not on tasks.
It will be nice-to-have if you
- Understand Netcode for GameObjects (synchronization, client-server, RPC).
- Worked with UI (Unity UIToolkit or Canvas).
- CI/CD Atlassian.
- Have knowledge in military affairs, ballistics, computer vision, drones, REP/REB or aerodynamics.
- You have a higher technical education.
