UI Artist in WavesReach

As a UI Artist, you will be pivotal in crafting the visual and interactive elements of our game interfaces. Your role involves designing intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that enhance player experience and engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, 2D and 3D artists, animators, and developers, to ensure a cohesive visual experience that aligns with the overall game design. Your contributions will significantly impact the usability and visual appeal of the game's interface, providing players with an immersive and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with the art director, UX designers, and other team leads to create engaging and intuitive UI designs that fit seamlessly within the project's art style.
• Participate in the iterative development process, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired visual quality and user experience.
• Ensure seamless integration of UI assets into the development pipeline, working closely with other artists, designers, and developers.

• Maintain clean and organized file structures, follow documentation and naming conventions, and systematically track progress using Jira and other designated art review tools.

   

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience focusing on UI design, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling as it applies to user interface design.
• Meticulous and organized working habits with a strong attention to detail.
• Expert knowledge of job-related tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and other UI/UX design tools.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the art team, leads, and production staff.

• A passion for art, games, and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
