TCHU is thousands of people all over Ukraine who make the world a better place every day. Community Engagement and Openness for Regional Development and Capacity Building (Educational Area) is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of training and professional development programs integrating community engagement and openness approaches. The purpose of the position is to ensure that these approaches become an integral part of training programs, increase the professional competence of the staff and volunteers of the TCHU, as well as create favorable conditions for their effective implementation at the regional level and within the programs of the National Committee.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Development and conduct of trainings:
    • Plan and organize trainings, seminars and other events with capacity building for staff and volunteers both at the regional level and at the national committee level.
    • Conduct training and professional development for new staff and volunteers.
  2. Development of training materials:
    • Development of training programs and materials in accordance with the needs of the organization.
    • Periodic update and improvement of training programs in accordance with organizational policy and legislative changes.< /li>
  3. Monitoring and evaluation of training:
    • Evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs and activities.
    • Analysis of training results and development and providing recommendations for improvement.
  4. Cooperation with other departments:
    • Cooperation with the department of planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting (PMER) for the integration of the approaches of ZSV to educational programs.
    • Coordination with regional offices and other structural units to ensure a unified approach to training and professional development.
  5. Clerical management:
    • Keep records of educational activities and data about participants.
    • Ensure ofpreparation of reports on training events.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in community development, sociology, anthropology, social work, or related fields
  • Education in communications, journalism, political science, conflict studies, international relations, or related fields will an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in humanitarian organizations, in particular TCHHU, will be a plus
  • A clear understanding of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and the development of training modules and programs
  • Knowledge of gender issues and diversity will be an advantage
  • Be ready for business trips around Ukraine
  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language
  • High level knowledge of the English language will be an advantage
