ABOUT THE JOB
Project HOPE is seeking five experienced consultants/trainers to lead specialized capacity-building training programs for local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). These roles are part of a targeted initiative aimed at strengthening organizational capacity, sustainability, and impact of CSOs through high-quality, practice-oriented training.
Each trainer will be responsible for one thematic area and will design and deliver interactive training sessions tailored to the needs of local CSOs.
Open Consultant Roles:
Trainer 1: Partnership & Networking
- Focus on building strong partnerships, coalitions, and intersectoral cooperation among CSOs.
- Key expertise: networking, partnership development, stakeholder engagement.
Trainer 2: Resource Mobilization & Financial Management
- Support CSOs in fundraising, financial sustainability, and compliance with donor requirements.
- Key expertise: financial management, donor compliance, resource mobilization.
Trainer 3: Communication, Branding & Advocacy
- Strengthen CSOs’ visibility, strategic communication, and advocacy efforts.
- Key expertise: communications strategy, branding, advocacy campaigns.
Trainer 4: Service Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Enhance quality, effectiveness, and accountability of CSO service delivery systems.
- Key expertise: service delivery models, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), quality standards.
Trainer 5: Governance & Project Management
- Support organizational development and project cycle management.
- Key expertise: governance structures, project management, grant applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver interactive, practice-oriented training sessions
Adapt training content to the local CSO context
Facilitate group discussions, exercises, and case studies
Provide analytical inputs and contribute to training reports
Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with Project HOPE standards
General Requirements (for all trainers):
Proven expertise in the relevant thematic area
Demonstrated experience working with CSOs or non-profit organizations
Strong facilitation and training delivery skills
Ability to design engaging and interactive learning content
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
This is a consultancy-based opportunity offering meaningful engagement in strengthening civil society and supporting sustainable community development.
Location: Kyiv, Odesa, or Dnipro. Candidates from other cities may also be considered.
