We are looking for a trainer-consultant to conduct a cycle of online training for teachers of Myrivska hromada

Features of the Participant's proposal must meet or be better than the characteristics specified by the Customer in this appendix to the tender documentation.

1. Initial situation

The situation in Dnipropetrovsk region needs urgent attention. Despite efforts to overcome the crisis, the region faces a constant influx of internally displaced persons (IDPs), with Dnipropetrovsk Oblast leading the number of displaced people for the second year in a row. This alarming trend continues, especially given the daily shelling of settlements along the contact line, exacerbating the need for temporary housing.

This problem is compounded by the escalation of the conflict. on the contact line, which led to the movement of the contact line deep into the territory of Ukraine. As a result, the demand for temporary housing and support services is growing again, which requires immediate action. 7000 inhabitants). The community directly borders the contact line and the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant across the Dnipro River. Despite their proximity to potential danger, many residents try to maintain a semblance of normality by farming and providing education for their children. There is an urgent need to conduct a cycle of adaptation trainings for teachers of Myrivsk community regarding behavioral characteristics of groups of people, in particular children during the war, control of attention, stress levels, organizational forms of distance learning, involvement of grant funding for public initiatives, etc.

During the needs study, we formed the following list of topics that were mentioned by the beneficiaries as such, that need attention or that have undergone significant changes during martial law:

1. Communication with children (types of perception and presentation of information, attention retention, relevant teaching formats, mental health, help during war).
2. Mental health of parents (what topics to raise with parents, how to talk, how to involve in education, development and implementation of the "Parent Clubs" project with topics about children, fears, pain, sexual education, crises, etc.).
3. Creative master classes for children (organization of events, methodical approaches, approaches to involvement, secrets of speakers, etc.). age, their socialization, communication formats, engagement methods, possible joint activities, etc.).
4. Digitalization of the educational process (online tools, forms, various interactive presentations, social networks, maintaining telegram groups for parent/teacher communities or communities, a "teacher's folder" with a set of tools for the school year, exchange of experiencem).
5. Attracting grant funding for community initiatives (identification of problem areas, writing applications, pitfalls, etc.).

2. Activities to be performed by the Consultant

For the teachers of the Myriv community, training is planned to be conducted in a remote online format, 4 training sessions of 3 hours each, with a break of at least 2 weeks between sessions (12 hours). The name of the training program is "Training program for teachers of Myrivska hromada".

After each session, participants will receive a set of tasks, the implementation of which will help them organize relevant activities in the community. Mentors and experts will remain in remote contact with teachers all the time, providing consultations as needed (an hour per training participant between sessions, up to 80 hours in total).

6 Preparation and surveying of participants based on the results of the training cycle 1 day

7 Reporting on the completion of the training cycle and the results obtained by the participants

3. Duration of activity:

The activities of the Consultant must begin no later than December 1, 2024. The duration of the contract with the Consultant is until April 1, 2025.

4. Qualification requirements

• Higher education in the field of psychology, social psychology and pedagogy, management or disciplines relevant to the training topics .
• At least 2 years of coaching experience.
• Fluency in Ukrainian.
• Experience of working with public organizations.
• Readiness work in the project from December 2024 to April 2025

5. Expected results of the Consultant's activities and reporting

According to the results of the activities:

• A questionnaire was developed and carried out to identify the needs of the target group. Supporting documents: results of the questionnaire, a report.
• A training program and a set of tasks for it were developed. Supporting documents: the program of the training cycle , a set of tasks.
• At least 86 participants from the Myriv community took part in the training events consulting Supporting documents: registration of participants, report.
• A questionnaire was developed and conducted to identify the level of satisfaction with the training, the level of acquired skills. According to the results of the survey, at least 70% of respondents estimate that their competencies have improved.

Documents are provided by Consultants no later than 5 days after the corresponding task has been completed in accordance with the agreed Work Schedule.

6. Procurement of materials and equipment

Not expected.

7. Financial conditions

According to the time worked, the Consultant will be remunerated at the specified time.

The payment schedule will be agreed with the Project manager.

Taxes, fees or payments of the Government of Ukraine, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and/or the Government of another country must be paid by the Consultant in accordance with the amount received. All payments are made exclusively on the basis of original invoices, reports of completed works and timesheets working hours, submitted no later than 3 working days before the date of payment.
