Trainee manual QA Engineer (no experience) in Simple Coffee

We are a team that creates and supports digital products: web platforms, mobile applications, interactive services. Our projects are growing, and quality is a key priority.

Therefore, we are looking for an attentive, responsible and motivated Trainee Manual QA Engineer who wants to start a career in IT and learn from experienced QA specialists.

We will consider candidates without experience or students - all training will be provided!

Responsibilities1. Functional testing

• Verification of the operation of the main functions of web or mobile products.

• Testing of forms, login/registration scripts, shopping carts, search, filters.

• Evaluation of the correctness of the service logic at various stages.

2. Interface testing (UI/UX)

• Checking the display of elements on the pages.

• Usability analysis and design compliance.

• Looking for inconsistencies in the layout (adaptive, text, buttons).

3. Cross-browser and cross-platform testing

• Checking the product's operation in different browsers and on different devices.

• Fixing errors in the display or behavior of elements.

4. Filing bug reports

• Creating high-quality error reports: description, reproduction steps, expected/actual result.

• Adding screenshots or videos.

• Working with systems: Jira / Trello / Asana (learning).

5. Writing test documentation

• Completing checklists and test cases under the guidance of QA Lead.

• Updating documentation in accordance with changes in the product.

6. Regression testing

• Checking fixed bugs.

• Testing key functions after product updates.

7. Interaction with the team

• Communication with developers about bugs and replay scenarios.

• Participation in QA meetings, demos and planning.

• Completion of tasks to established deadlines.

Requirements

• Attention, logical thinking and structural approach.

• Basic understanding of what testing is and what its types are.

• Ability to work with Excel/Google Sheets.

• Willingness to learn is a key requirement.

• Ability to clearly formulate thoughts and describe actions.

• Experience not required - we will consider candidates without experience or students.

Will be a plus:

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.

• Understanding of client-server architecture.

• Completion of QA courses.

• Any test papers or test case drafts.

• Salary 33,000 – 38,000 UAH

• Full time, Mon–Fri, schedule 9:30–19:00
