Trainee/Junior QA Engineer

As a Trainee/Junior Software QA Engineer at Leobit company, you must be capable of performing Black-box testing of Web and Mobile platforms. You must have a keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and high organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate high result orientation and responsibility for own work.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate requirements (specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.).
• Create Test Documentation (test design, test scenarios, test cases, GUI checklists, etc.).
• Prepare Test Data.
• Perform Functional / non-functional testing of product increments (Web/Desktop/Mobile).
• Prepare and execute SQL scripts.
• Update baseline documentation following requirements changes.
• Create bug reports and document deviations from the expected results with screenshots and videos.
• Provide regular Test Status updates to stakeholders.
• Work with Project and Test Management Tools

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum)
• Understanding the purpose of Software Quality
• Understanding QA role in cross-functional Agile teams
• Knowledge of Fundamental Test Process Phases
• Knowledge of Testing Types and Techniques
• Knowledge of Test Documentation types/purpose
• Technical skills in test scenario preparation and test execution
• Technical skills in documenting and troubleshooting defects
• Familiarity with test case/ project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps)
• Strong self-organization skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
• Level of English: Intermediate
