Trainee Game Tester (will consider candidates without experience or students) in Eastern Express

We create games and test internal and commercial projects for international clients. We emphasize quality, stability of gameplay and user comfort.
In connection with the expansion of the team, we are looking for a Trainee Game Tester who wants to enter gamedev, start a career in testing and work with game products.

Who we are considering:

• candidates without experience

• candidates with minimal experience testing

• students who are interested in games and want to learn QA

The main thing is attentiveness, logic and love for games.

Duties of a Trainee Game Tester:

1. Gameplay testing

• checking mechanics and game scenarios

• testing balance, behavior of characters, items

• detecting errors in gameplay, UI, mechanics

• passing levels and evaluating their logic

2. Documenting bugs

• creating clear and understandable bug reports

• describing the steps to reproduce the error

• adding screenshots / videos for the development team

3. Testing of new functions

• initial verification of the implementation of new features

• smoke testing and regression after updates

• verification of the correctness of the integration of new elements

4. Working with documentation

• keeping checklists

• updating information in test tables

• participating in creating test cases

5. Communication with the team

• discussion of found errors with QA-leaders

• interaction with developers

• participation in short meetings, synchronizations

• clarification of functional logic before testing

We will learn to use all tools, if experience no.

Candidate requirements:

• attention to details and perseverance

• logical and structured thinking

• interest in games and basic understanding of gameplay

• ability to clearly formulate thoughts

• basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Docs

• will a plus: knowledge of Jira, experience in moderation or testing, participation in beta tests

• salary 33,000 - 38,000 UAH
