For our client, an international organization, we are looking for a Lead Cyber Security Expert.

This role focuses on high-level technical specialists who combine deep expertise in cyber security with experience in system design, technical assessment and strategic consulting.

The position involves key technical responsibility in the formation and evaluation of cyber and digital security programs. sustainability, including architectural solutions, standards, risks and compliance with international frameworks.

Work location: Kyiv, Ukraine, possible hybrid format, but not remote

Key responsibilities:

• Formation and development of the technical architecture of cyber and digital programs sustainability.
• Conducting an in-depth technical assessment of existing and planned solutions in the field of cyber security.
• Development of technical concepts, system models, reference architectures and framework solutions.
• Providing expert recommendations regarding EU standards and international norms.
• Analysis of cyber risks, threats, vulnerabilities and incidents with a focus on systemic impact.
• Preparation technical conclusions, analytical notes and advisory documents for management, donors and partners.
• Development and evaluation of technical proposals, project solutions and budget models.
• Ensuring compliance of technical solutions with international standards and best practices.
• Technical support of teams in the process of implementing programs and initiatives.
• Participation in strategic discussions regarding the development of the cyber security ecosystem in of Ukraine.
• Interaction with state bodies, international organizations and technical communities.
• Representation of the organization at specialized conferences, expert events and round tables.
• Initiation and design of new technical initiatives in the field of digital sustainability.

Requirements for candidate:

• Higher degree in computer science, information security, engineering or related fields.
• Professional certifications in the field of cyber security.
• 10+ years of experience in cyber security, information security, systems architecture or technical consulting.
• Experience work in public companies, government institutions, or with government, international or large institutional clients.
• In-depth understanding of:
  • global cyber threats and threat landscape;
  • secure systems architecture;
  • standards, policies and regulatory requirements;
  • principles of cyber and digital resilience.
• Ability to work with complex technical systems and transform them into practical solutions.
• Experience in technical evaluation, design of solutions, preparation of technical proposals and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in managing technical projects or programs.
• Fluent command of English and Ukrainian languages.
