Test Engineer (Product Qualification) IRC251162 in GlobalLogic Ukraine

GlobalLogic is inviting Test Engineer to join the team.

About the project: Inside the Client’s project, you will join the System Test team in charge of LTE product qualification. Working closely with platform development, software development and integration teams, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of LTE products. To achieve this you will demonstrate product performance and robustness against operators and LTE standard conformance criteria. When needed, assist customer and support certification labs.

 Requirements:

• Engineer degree in the area of telecommunication, electronic systems and/or embedded software
• At least 3 years of experience in manual software testing
• Experience in network protocols
• Good in programming, at least scripting language (Python preferred)
• Experience in Linux: shell, shell script, networking
• At least intermediate English level (written and spoken)

Would be a significant plus:

• Integration and/or validation of telecommunication wireless devices
• Knowledge in mobile equipment architecture, RF and signal processing
• Experience with modems (AT commands, 3GPP, LWM2M etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Study of new testing methodologies for LWM2M / OMADM
• Test scope definition from network operator requirements or customer scenarios
• Test campaign execution and analysis in a live network
• Issue tracking and verification
• Close co-working with the R&D development and integration team
• Manage setups on a live network and lab environment
• Develop new tools
• Adapt/Create scenarios in an automated environment in Python
• Investigate issues on the live network and reproduce them in-house
