As a Solution Engineer, you will help us develop and transform existing customer environments towards hybrid cloud, bringing your creativity to the solution architecture.As a Solution Engineer with a focus on infrastructure solutions, you will play a crucial role in our organization's growth and success. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to understand client needs and develop customized solutions that address their specific requirements. Solution Engineers are excellent communicators, able to develop and articulate complex technological issues in a straightforward way to both decision makers and technical personnel alike. The perfect candidate must have the drive, be proactive and is self-motivating What you’ll do Collaborating with the sales team to identify and qualify leads for hybrid cloud solutions. Conducting thorough needs assessments and understanding clients' IT infrastructure and business goals, leading into a complete requirement engineering for the solution. Designing and presenting infrastructure solutions to clients, highlighting the financial and technical benefits. Coordinating with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation of the proposed solutions. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technologies and sharing knowledge with the team. Participation in market development activities, for example with specialist presentations on events or social media campaigns Supporting colleagues in sales with strategic account planning This is a customer facing role and some travel to visit customers would be required. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in IT related fields Several years of experience in a technical field, preferably in a presales role Technical aptitude: Preferably have database, server and storage knowledge, as well as being able to discuss data management. Communication skills: able to develop and articulate complex technical issues in a straightforward way Drive: eager to be perceived as a technical expert. Endless curiosity and the will to understand concepts and motivations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. Strong creativity and ability to create new solutions for specific requirements. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous customer facing experience would be an advantage, experiences outside the IT in a technical area just makes you more interesting.
