Technical manager in ENERGY ACT FOR UKRAINE

Description of the organization: BO "Energy Action for Ukraine" Foundation is an organization engaged in installing solar systems in schools and hospitals as part of the "100 Solar Schools" and "50 Solar Hospitals" initiatives. The purpose of the fund is to promote the energy independence of critical and social infrastructure objects.

Place of work: Kyiv city (with the possibility of trips to the region)

Vacancy description:BO "Energy Action for Ukraine" Foundation is looking for a technical specialist, electrical engineer for the technical support of the implementation of hybrid solar power plant construction projects and the further development of the Fund's technical department.  

Duties and responsibilities:

• Performing a technical analysis of objects regarding the possibility of building solar stations with conservation systems. Providing a technical opinion. 
and recommendations regarding the configuration of equipment for the project;
• Selection of equipment for the construction of solar stations;
• Performance of technical control and supervision of the construction process of facilities;
• Maintenance of communication with contracting organizations and technical specialists of the facilities, donors, manufacturing plants and suppliers of products and other partners on technical issues of the projects; /li>
• Assisting project managers in compiling reporting materials upon completion of project stages.

What skills will be helpful?

< li>Higher technical education;
• Good level of English for reading and speaking (not lower than B1).
• Willingness to travel to regions, including the frontline (not closer than 80 km from front).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Having a driver's license and experience driving a car.

Will be an advantage:< /p>

• Experience in the field of energy, electricity.
• Experience as a design engineer.
• Experience as a project manager.
• Own programs: AutoCad, PVSyst, Sketch Up, MS Project.
• Experience in the design/construction of photovoltaic plants (hybrid plants) will be a very significant advantage.
