Job Description: Technical Lead – AI-Powered Shopify App DevelopmentPosition: Technical Lead – AI-Powered Shopify App DevelopmentLocation: Remote (Flexible)Type: Full-Time / Contract (Open to discussion)About the RoleWe’re looking for a Technical Lead to spearhead the development of an Agentic AI-powered platform designed to revolutionize how store owners transition to e-commerce. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about AI, automation, and e-commerce, with expertise in building robust, scalable solutions. You’ll lead the technical implementation from concept to launch, working directly with the founder to bring this vision to life.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Strategy and Development • Design and implement the technical architecture for the app. • Lead the integration of essential APIs: • Shopify API • Image Recognition APIs (e.g., Google Vision API) • Generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT) 2. Prototype and MVP Creation • Build a prototype using platforms like Unify for rapid development and API integration. • Develop the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) 3. Testing and Optimization • Conduct rigorous testing to ensure seamless functionality across all app modules. • Collaborate with beta users to gather feedback and iterate on features, UI, and performance.4.
