You will play a crucial role in guiding technical decisions, software architecture, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Work on AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Oversee database design and optimization for SQL (RDS) and MongoDB. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.Must-Have Qualifications: Experience: At least 8-10 years in software development with a strong background in team leading or technical leadership roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. AWS: Extensive experience with AWS services and architecture. Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes (k8s) Databases: Solid experience with SQL (RDS) and MongoDB. Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, mentor developers, and manage projects effectively. Familiarity with modern development practices, testing, and tools.Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiar with TDD (huge advantage) Experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and Google Firebase. Familiarity with front-end technologies, including web development and iFrames. Experience with the Electron framework. Knowledge of Overwolf. Interest in gaming or experience in the gaming industry.
