Team Lead Java / Platform Developer in KOHANSTUDIO

Public organization Gidno, engaged in anti-corruption analytics and support for the digitalization of public services in Ukraine, is looking for a Team Lead Java / Platform Developer for projects related to the creation and changing the state registers of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• Optimization of development processes through the implementation of best practices to improve efficiency and quality products.
• Development of scalable and secure technical architectures that meet the current and future needs of the project.
• Participation in the creation of key platform components as part of the team.
• Ensuring reliable cyber security measures to protect systems and data.
• Assessment of projects according to time and financial frameworks, guaranteeing adherence to budgets and terms.

Requirements:

• Experience from 3 years as a software developer with an understanding of the full development cycle (previous technologies are not are fundamental).
• Interest and willingness to learn no-code/low-code platforms (for example, Camunda); experience would be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with cloud or virtual infrastructures.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Problem solving skills, proactivity and results orientation.
• Experience in managing technological resources.
• Intermediate level of English (ability to work with technical documentation).
• Experience of working with the public sector or in projects related to the digitalization of public services will be a significant advantage.
• Experience of managing development teams (from 5 persons) will be an advantage.

Technical advantages:

• Knowledge of programming languages ​​or frameworks such as Java (Groovy), JavaScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka.
• Skills in using monitoring and infrastructure tools (Prometheus, Grafana, AWS, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
• Experience of working with qualified electronic signature libraries (QES).
• Experience of interacting with registries through Trembita.
