Team Lead Full-stack .Net Engineer in ELITEX

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our team in Stockholm. This role requires a balance of coding expertise and leadership skills, with an initial focus on 80% coding and 20% team leading, gradually transitioning to more leadership responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in structuring our product for longevity and guiding our developers to follow best practices.
This position is from our customer onsite/relocation. Full-time, Stockholm.

About project:

The project involves developing a robust cloud service designed for content owners to distribute their video content to various streaming platforms such as Prime Video, AppleTV, Comcast, and Vimeo. The system enables customers to manage licenses, metadata, and multimedia files, ensuring compliance with the unique requirements of each streaming platform. With approximately 30,000 assets and 200TB of video material in their datacenter, the сlient emphasizes scalability and efficiency, aiming to minimize support needs and streamline customer onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to structured coding practices.
• Make final decisions on coding practices and feature implementations, balancing input from team members with strategic direction.
• Maintain and enforce a consistent development structure, ensuring the product remains scalable and maintainable.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve questions and diverse ideas, fostering a culture of consensus and continuous improvement.

• Communicate effectively with team members, motivating and inspiring them to achieve high standards of coding and collaboration.

   

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in C# programming language.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS) and container hosting services.
• Familiarity with both Windows servers in data centers and Linux servers.
• Frontend development experience using React.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Postgres databases.
• Experience with central logging tools like Datadog.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer or Team Lead, with a strong coding background.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to make decisive and structured decisions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of developers.
• Understanding of Swedish work culture and consensus-driven models, with some knowledge of the Swedish language being a plus.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to foresee and mitigate potential challenges in product development.
