Team lead for POS projects remotely Hello! At UpUp, we are looking for a Team Lead for our POS application development team. Main responsibilities: • Technical leadership: Defining the technical direction of projects and solving architectural issues. • Implementation of projects: Transformation of the most complex parts of business requirements into reliable technical solutions. • Team management: Management of a team of android, back-end and front-end developers. • Process Improvement: Implementation of processes aimed at stabilizing and improving our approaches to development and collapse. • Mentoring: Providing mentoring and support to team members in their professional growth and development of technical skills. Basic requirements: • 4+ years of experience in software engineering • deep knowledge of Java and Kotlin • mastery of Spring Boot or Android (mastery of both is a significant advantage) and related technologies • knowledge of additional frameworks, such as Angular, React, and Plus • experience in designing and working with databases, in particular PostgreSQL and MySQL • experience with Jenkins, Git, Gradle and other development tools • experience with AWS • knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Docker Compose, plus • experience in fintech or POS application development is a plus • desire to work as a team leader is a must, such experience is an advantage • analytical thinking, excellent technical problem-solving skills • openness, strong communication skills and responsibility We are supporters of a culture of open communication, where ideas and concerns are welcomed and resolved.
