Main duties:

• configures active switching equipment
• organizes access to local and global networks
• monitors the use of network resources
• trains users work in the network, responds for user questions related to work on the network; prepares instructions for working with network software and brings them to the attention of users
• applies to technical personnel when network equipment malfunctions are detected
• participates in system recovery in case of failures and failure of network equipment equipment
• monitors the network, develops proposals for network infrastructure development
• keeps a log of system information, other technical documentation
• prepares proposals for modernization and purchase of network equipment
• monitors installation of equipment by specialists of third-party organizations

• informs his immediate supervisor about cases of network abuse and measures taken

Requirements for the candidate:

• specialized software products used to perform job duties
• network hardware and software
• switching equipment configuration methods
• current communication standards
• understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack at a sufficient level for setting up
• systems for organizing complex information protection, ways to prevent unauthorized access to information.
